Our private hotel was founded in 1996. It is well know among tourists who intend to visit Berlin or Potsdam, hikers and cyclists as well as guests who are going to visit their families and relatives in our neighbourhood. The lake and its sourroundings are attractive in all seasons. Especially in summertime bathing, boating and fishing are favourite leisure activities. In wintertime skating is very popular. In our large garden guests can enjoy a beautiful summer pavillion with BBQ opportunities as well as easy-chairs for sunbathing. A bus stop for local destinations is right in front of the private hotel. The distance to Falkensee railway-station is 1,5 km. Trains leave several times per hour to the centre of Berlin.

The private hotel offers comfortable apartements with moderate prices. The rooms are characterized by their personal flair. Their are equipped with everything needed for self supply.

Aside from the lake the nearby forest invites for recreation. The Western Havelland region is well known and popular as a cycling paradise because of its newly built cycle tracks. So bycicle trips can become a great event.

The impressive ancient part of Berlin-Spandau with the well known citadel is only 5 km away. (direct bus line)

The centre of the city of Berlin with government quarter, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the Museum Island, the tv-tower, the National Galery and the Zoological Garden lies in 15 - 20 km distance.

By car
1. Coming from directon Berlin-Spandau
The Falkensee Chaussee becomes the Spandauer Straße. Continue straight, exiting the roundabout at Hellweg-Baumarkt (DIY supply store) to the junction with traffic lights. At this junction turn right into the Schönwalder Straße and onwards to the Reuterallee (2nd crossing right). Turn right and the Reuterallee becomes Seepromenade after 200metres.

2. Coming from direction Potsdam
From the roundabout at Hellweg-Baumarkt. Exit the roundabout at the left and continue to the junction with the traffic lights. At that junction turn right into the Schönwalder Straße and on to the Reuterallee (2nd crossing right). Turn right and the Reuterallee becomes Seepromenade after 200metres.

3. On motorway A10 coming from the direction of Hamburg
Take the exit towards Berlin-Spandau and continue on the B5 until the exit towards Lake Falkensee. Continue to the roundabout at Hellweg-Baumarkt, exit it at the left and continue to the junction with traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn right into the Schönwalder Straße and on to the Reuterallee (2nd crossing right). Turn right and the Reuterallee becomes Seepromenade after 200metres.

4. Coming from direction Oranienburg/Velten via Schönwalde
After the city entrance take the 3rd crossing left (Reuterallee) which will become the Seepromenade after 200metres.
(2nd crossing left is the entrance to the Seepromenade do not take it).
