If you are travelling from Karlsruhe, exit the motorway at Freiburg-Nord and follow the signs for Stadtmitte/Siegesdenkmal.

If you are travelling from Basel, exit the motorway at Freiburg-Mitte and continue in the direction of Stadtmitte via the Werder-Rotteck-Ring and Leopoldring until you reach the Karlstraße.
