The Hotel Schloss Lübbenau is perfectly situated in a peaceful park, only 5 minutes’ walk from the large harbour on the edge of the old town, which marks the starting place for wonderful boat trips.

Our hotel is located right in the heart of the Spreewald, yet stands apart from the main stream of tourists.

Within the arches of the castle, you will find at your disposal a 280 m² area comprising a sauna and steam room, a massage room and a room offering Ayurveda treatments.

Within the arches of the castle, you will find at your disposal a 280 m² area comprising a sauna and steam room, a massage room and a room offering Ayurveda treatments. Our hotel is ideal for events of every size. Different sized rooms of varying décor allow a number of possibilities, ranging from rustic to elegant, from formal to cosy. Our hotel has 3 conference rooms, which benefit from daylight and have a capacity of 12, 40 and 60 people. A separate office is available for the presenter/ conference leader. All conference rooms are equipped with WLAN, telephone and fax connection, projector, projection screens, pin board, flip charts, VCR, TV, HiFi and a presenter’s kit.

All rooms have a living and sleeping area and en suite facilities with a hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, heated towel rail, satellite TV (including the sports/movie channel Premiere), telephone, modem and fax connection, minibar, writing desk, sitting corner and mosquito repellent windows.

Food & beverage

Our kitchen combines international and regional cuisine on a very high level. While dishes might not be described as typical of the Spreewald area, they are however created using the abundance of local fish, meat and vegetables.

Orangerie – the café / restaurant
“Simply enjoy” is the main idea of the open kitchen at the Orangerie, which offers a rich variety of seasonal dishes. (Open May – October)

The á-la-carte restaurant consists of 2 differently decorated rooms in the east wing of the castle. One of them, which seats 40 and maintains an English style, is particularly inviting at dinner time due to its elegance.

Next door, the rustic hunter’s lounge also offers space for 40 people.

Outside, a spacious patio is situated on the sunny side of the castle.
