Hotel information

The Xcelsus Guest House opened its doors to its first guests on 21st June 2006. Our sauna complex includes a rest and relaxation zone, sauna for 15 people, male and female changing rooms, toilet and shower. With its standard, gentle, steam and aromatherapy modes, our sauna has options to satisfy everybody.

Room information

When you want to freshen up, your room offers a shower or bath, soft towels, heated floor and everything else you’ve come to expect from a state-of-the-art bathroom. Should the need arise, each room contains an additional bed. The linen sheeted beds and rugs in each room and hallway that cushion your feet epitomise a laconic and understated interior where every detail has been especially designed with your comfort and contentment in mind.

Food & beverage

Our cuisine is presented by two high class cooks and a magic, wonderful confectioner.
Xcelsus chief is the first discilpe in Latvia of the excellent master Martins Ritins, who has been practised her skills in France.
Whatever yor wishes and will are – Xcelsus will serve the best for your individual needs and for 100 and more persons as well.
You will wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread and in summer you can enjoy breakfast on our terrace.

If you arrive by car: The hotel is located near the A7 highway outside of Riga (on the south side of the city). If your car accepts GPS, please enter our coordinates (+56° 53' 9.55", +24° 9' 30.93"; 56.885986, 24.158592), not the address Dunu Street (because there are 2 streets of the same name in Riga).

Travel information

From the airport Riga International Airport (RIX) by car:
- Take the main road, following signs to the city centre.
- Once in Riga, take K. Ulmana Street and turn right onto Mukusalas Street.
- Cross the Riga border, and turn left after the first wood. The hotel is on the left-hand side of the A7.

Approximate driving time 25 minutes; distance 18 kilometres.

Bus numbers 23 and 26 run to the city centre. The bus runs every 30 minutes, taking 30 minutes to get to the centre.
