The elegant and unique 4-star Hotel Garden Palace was opened at the beginning of 2007, offering a unique location in the historical centre, comfortable rooms, entertainment, and quality service.

The hotel occupies a renovated historic building dating back to 1780.

The fabulous panoramic view of the old town of Riga, Blackhead's House, Town Hall Square, the embankment and the great Daugava River is just one of the advantages of staying at the Garden Palace.

The hotel also features a sauna, a cosy hall with TV and a heated floor, and a kitchen (for use at an additional cost).

Staff will be happy to organise an airport transfer, as well as offer assistance with renting a car, booking sightseeing tours or reserving tickets to the Latvian National Opera and Theatre.

Room information

Each room has a unique style and is elegantly furnished with natural wood and all modern facilities for your comfort. In addition all rooms have a free cable internet connection for your laptop. For additional costs you can also rent one of the hotel's laptops (passport required). There are smoking and non-smoking rooms, as well as extra beds and the opportunity to choose rooms with a view of the old town or the cosy enclosed court (on request, subject to availability).

Food & beverage

The hotel's modernly styled restaurant is a nice place for a quick tea, as well as for a romantic dinner.

The breakfast café is open from 07:00 to 10:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 11:00 on weekends.

Travel information

From the airport:
Take the number 22 bus or the express bus number 22A towards the city centre. The journey will take around 30 minutes. If you take bus number 22, the nearest bus stop to the hotel is 11 Novembra Krastmala. If you take bus number 22A, the nearest bus stop is Cathedrale (Cathedral Church).

By ferry:
The ferry terminal is 1.5 km from the old town. You can take tram numbers 5, 7 or 9 to the city centre.

The central train and bus station is located in the centre of Riga, a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

The hotel does not have its own parking area. The nearest secured parking place is around 20 metres from the hotel (additional cost).
